Step 1

You will receive a welcome email letting you know that your free trial has been set up and another email inviting you to HealthTasks

Step 2

Your initial email will be an admin account with full privileges. To fully explore HealthTasks, we suggest you use the free trial seat to add yourself as a student user. You can do this by adding yourself as a user (Users > Add User) and using an email alias (ex: [email protected]) or a personal email, and choosing the student role for the new user.

After adding a student with an email alias or a personal email, you will receive another welcome email to your regular inbox to let you sign up as a student.

Make sure you are logged out of your admin account before trying to complete your account setup as a student to avoid any cache issues.

Welcome email links are only valid for one use within 24 hours. If you receive an error that your signup link has expired, you can trigger a new link by visiting https://health.nursetasks.com/reset-password

Step 3

Explore the platform end-to-end by logging in and out using your student and admin roles. Add both users to the same classroom to enable all features such as submitting clinical logs as a student, approving logs as an admin, and viewing progress as an admin.

If you need any assistance, please get in touch with our team at [email protected]

We're happy to help!

  • When you log in, your email used to set up the trial will be displayed, and you'll be an admin [00:04].

  • To fully explore the platform, it's recommended to add yourself as a student to see the platform from both perspectives [00:08].

  • Create an email alias for the student email (your email +student before the @ sign) [00:18]. This creates a new account, but emails will go to your regular inbox. Example: [email protected]

  • After adding yourself as a student, you'll have two logins: one for student and one for educator [00:33].

  • Switch between accounts by logging out and back in to explore both perspectives [00:47].

  • As a student, you can submit clinical logs to yourself as the admin [00:56].

  • As an admin, you can approve logs and use other admin features [00:56].
